How can I find out if someone has been arrested?
To locate someone who may have been arrested or detained by the Philadelphia Police Department, please call the district where they were in custody first.
If you do not know the police district, please contact Police Detention (formerly the Round House or ​Cell Room) by dialing
(215) 686-3304/3305/3306.  

You Should Know:
Police Detention now includes:
  • Both males and females
  • Those arrested for DUI
  • Those arrested for narcotics
  • People diagnosed with serious medical conditions.
